Design, deploy, and maintain Single Store, Mongo DB, Sybase and Cloud database environments to support mission-critical applications and workloads. Develop and implement best practices for database administration, including backup and recovery strategies, monitoring, and performance optimization. Requires: Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related role OR Masters degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include five (5) years with Bachelors OR three (3) years with Masters with the following: relational and NoSQL database technologies, including MySQL, Single Store, DB2, Mongo DB or Cassandra; support and maintenance of Single Store database environments; distributed systems and Big Data platforms, including Hadoop (HDFS and YARN) and related data processing frameworks; Python and Unix shell scripting for automation, monitoring, and ETL workflows; event-driven architecture technologies such as Kafka; database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies, and database query tuning and optimization; and cloud infrastructure technologies such as AWS or Azure.
