General Notes

As part of UT Dell Medical School's transformation into a world-class academic health enterprise, we are launching an Enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation centered on Workday, beginning in Fall 2026. To support this implementation, we are recruiting HR and technology professionals who will help design, implement, and optimize Workday. This is a unique opportunity to build the foundational HR technology platform that will support the future University of Texas Dell Medical Center and the broader academic health enterprise.

We are hiring two Senior Workday Analysts through this posting, with each position supporting a different functional area of the Workday implementation:

  • Payroll-focused position: Workday Payroll configuration and related functionality, including payroll calculations, earnings/deductions, tax, payroll accounting, testing, and integration touchpoints with Time, Absence, Benefits, and other systems.

Both positions will work closely with business owners, technical teams, and implementation partners to configure and implement the new Workday environment through testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.

Purpose

The Senior Workday Analyst provides advanced application configuration, optimization, and support for the organization's Workday HCM transformation. This role partners with HR, Payroll, business stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners to translate functional requirements into Workday configuration and support successful implementation, testing, go-live, and ongoing optimization.
