Primary Purpose
Develops and leads advanced engineering work for large or highcomplexity control systems. Applies deep expertise to innovate solutions, guide system architecture, and influence engineering direction. Duties and Responsibilities * Architects and develops control system designs that integrate advanced automation technologies. * Solves multifaceted system problems by analyzing hardware, software, and process interactions. * Leads crossfunctional design reviews and secures alignment on system strategy and implementation. * Develops sophisticated test plans and verification strategies for new or significantly modified systems. * Advises on control system risk mitigation strategies, including redundancy and safety features. * Evaluates new technologies and recommends integration approaches for improved performance. * Provides engineering guidance to project teams and mentors colleagues from multiple disciplines. * Negotiates design solutions and technical tradeoffs with stakeholders, communicating impacts clearly. * Performs other duties as assigned. | |
