Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Cyber Security Process Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. As a Process Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location.

As a Cyber Security Process Engineer, you will provide process engineering support around DIB Cybersecurity Operations. Primary responsibilities include analyzing and improving organizational processes, conducting technical research and analysis, and writing responses for government-provided high-priority data calls to create representations/characterizations of strategy alignment, resource allocations, discrepancies, gaps, and organizational accomplishments. You will perform research and analysis on data as well as compile and correlate data sets to track operational plans, understand technical capabilities and gaps, relationships, and status, and report results to leadership.

You will also conduct thorough reviews and detailed assessments of systems engineering documentation; define, review, propose and develop process improvements; and oversee and guide creation, modification, and implementation of process governance and required systems engineering documentation and artifacts. #MDFSP #AJCM



Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited school or university is required. Four years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelors' Degree.
  • Requires fifteen (15) years of experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Experience is to include, within the past ten (10) years, five (5) years' experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.
  • Knowledge of process engineering, executing operational procedures, and analyzing operational workflows.
  • Experience in documenting processes and process improvement.
  • Experience in SharePoint, Confluence, and documentation management.
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

  • Some marketing skills, training, or experience is a plus.
  • Experience in gathering functional requirements.
  • Experience in Cybersecurity domain is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze user requirements.
  • Ability to communicate with other government and contract software developers, project leads, and program managers.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
