We are seeking an Enterprise Business Technology Director to drive enterprise systems, data, AI, and architecture strategies that support innovation, operational excellence, and growth across NCG. This role is responsible for leading NCG’s enterprise technology strategy, roadmap, and governance across purchasing systems, enterprise applications, data and AI platforms, and enterprise architecture. This is an ideal position for a senior technology leader who excels at digital transformation, enterprise systems, and program governance, and who enjoys building scalable solutions that improve business processes and support organizational growth. Primary Responsibilities: · Facilitate the prioritization of high-impact opportunities for NCG and its member co-ops using metrics like ROI, customer acquisition/retention, sales growth, operational improvements in the store, standardization of store systems, etc. · Lead program planning activities across multiple technology teams, third parties, and stakeholder groups and define programs to implement technology driven solutions. · Contribute to the development of NCG’s enterprise technology budget; monitor spending and forecasted expenditures against plan; and collaborate with the CIO to proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate potential budget variances. · Ensure NCG’s strategies and plans for enterprise technology solutions align with and support NCG’s member-facing strategic, tactical, and operational plans and are optimally leveraged to reduce labor and operating expenses. · Advise the CIO on NCG’s needs for enterprise technology solutions and its impact across the business portfolio of programs, products and services and recommend appropriate strategies and solutions. · Tailor enterprise technology and digital transformation communication to the audience, highlighting how each component supports NCG and member business goals. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in business, management, computer systems or other relevant discipline and minimum 12 years of progressive responsibility in grocery or health & wellness chain- based enterprise technology management, including budget management; OR minimum 16 years of progressive responsibility in grocery or health & wellness chain-based enterprise technology management, including budget management. · Minimum 7 years of experience driving complex enterprise technology initiatives, including hands-on experience across a broad range of technologies in high-availability environments. · Minimum 5 years of experience leading enterprise business systems, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems integration, or digital transformation initiatives; preferably in a retail grocery store setting. · Minimum 5 years of experience in negotiating and managing third party IT packed software, and software development vendor relationships. · Demonstrated experience developing technology strategy across multiple business functions, including enterprise applications, data and analytics, infrastructure, cybersecurity, purchasing, and operational systems. · Up to 30% business travel is required, including overnights and weekends. The salary for this position is $200,905.
