Precise Systems is seeking an experienced Logistician to support the STANDARD Missile AUR Branch at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD). The tasking supports STANDARD Missile (SM-2/SM-3/SM-6) readiness efforts. The Individual must have Naval weapon system knowledge and experience in tasks related to ordnance logistics, technical documentation, and maintenance and test requirements. This position will consist of serving as a member of the STANDARD Missile ISEA Team providing all facets of logistics support and analysis in support of Event Mitigation, Tactical Operations, Test and Integration, Fleet Introduction, Training, and Life Cycle Support & Sustainment.

Duties:



  • Provide STANDARD Missile (SM) All Up Round (AUR) logistics support by analyzing Ordnance Information System (OIS) and SMSMDS/MARS data and identifying anomalies that affect SM readiness.
  • Provide SM life cycle support including the development and revision of acquisition logistics documents.
  • Responsible for updating, reviewing, or modifying technical documents and special processing instructions related to maintenance, testing, trouble shooting, and AUR handling.
  • Provide logistical and technical support to AUR SMEs to facilitate prompt resolution of emergent issues, troubleshooting in-service problems, and answering technical questions.
  • Responsible for monitoring the accuracy of SM information published in NAVSUP P-801.
  • Prepare and coordinate presentation materials for meetings in support of project and program reviews and sponsor data calls.


Required Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, and other engineering disciplines)


Required Experience:



  • Minimum of a High School Diploma; Higher education a plus but not required
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience supporting MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) pertaining to ordnance safety, missile handling, and inventory management


Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $56,028 to $80,042 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
