Position Summary
We seek a highly skilled and self-motivated individual with experience in molecular biology, biochemistry or other closely related field to join our research group. The project is part of a multi-laboratory collaboration concerning new directions in influenza vaccine design. The research is at the interface of virology, immunology and structural biology. Applicants should have the communication skills and motivation to work in a highly collaborative environment. Previous laboratory experience required. Experience with and good understanding of approaches and methods in molecular biology (PCR, molecular cloning, etc.) and biochemistry (protein expression in heterologous systems, chromatography etc.). Experience with tissue culture is desirable. Work requires analytical skills to resolve problems requiring the use of basic scientific, mathematical, and technical principles. A two-year commitment is expected. Key Responsibilities
Education:
The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
