Job description
Job Summary

We are looking for Splunk Consultant to lead the design, administration, optimization, and modernization of the enterprise Splunk platform. The role will be responsible for Splunk architecture, log management, security monitoring, integrations, automation, and observability initiatives while mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) administration and architecture.
  • Manage log ingestion, normalization, onboarding, performance tuning, and platform scalability.
  • Define standards and governance for Splunk infrastructure and guide upgrades, refreshes, and migrations.
  • Develop custom Splunk applications, dashboards, alerts, data models, and security content.
  • Build integrations with enterprise applications and security platforms.
  • Develop solutions using Python, SPL, SimpleXML, JavaScript, CSS, and Bash.
  • Support high-availability production environments and drive reliability improvements.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership.
  • Lead or support enterprise observability platform modernization and migration initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise administration and engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES).
  • Strong expertise in Splunk architecture, performance tuning, and data onboarding.
  • Proficiency in Python, Splunk SPL, Bash, JavaScript, and related development technologies.
  • Experience integrating Splunk with enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.
  • Strong understanding of modern monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability best practices.
  • Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical production environments.
Preferred
  • Splunk certifications (Architect, Enterprise Admin, ES Administrator).
  • Experience with DevOps, SRE, and cloud-native monitoring solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale platform migrations and modernization programs.
