This position is a temporary assignment through Aquent with a major healthcare client. The Business Analyst will support the enterprise knowledge management system migration from Mentor to OpenText. Serving as the primary bridge between technology teams and content authoring groups, you will drive requirements gathering, document process flows, communicate key platform capabilities and timelines, and support operational change readiness to ensure a smooth transition.

Key Responsibilities



  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Act as the liaison to content authoring groups; communicate OpenText features, timelines, and action items while gathering operational needs.
  • Requirements & Process Mapping: Facilitate discovery sessions to document current vs. future-state authoring workflows, permissions, reporting, metadata/taxonomy rules, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Content Migration Support: Assist in mapping content inventories, ownership models, disposition rules, and validation criteria for migrating from Mentor to OpenText.
  • Testing & Operational Readiness: Support UAT by defining test scenarios, coordinating stakeholder participation, and tracking defects. Assist with training inputs, readiness checklists, and risk/dependency tracking.


Required Qualifications



  • 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Analyst supporting platform implementations, content management, or system migrations.
  • Proven track record in requirements gathering, process/workflow mapping, and producing user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Strong facilitation and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills to track risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions across multiple workstreams.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Hands-on experience with OpenText, Mentor, SharePoint, or enterprise knowledge/content management platforms.
  • Knowledge of taxonomy, metadata, document governance, and access controls.
  • Healthcare, health insurance, or regulated industry background.
  • Familiarity with change management, user training readiness, and stakeholder adoption support.

  • Content migration rules, metadata inputs, and access permissions logic
  • Risk, issue, dependency, and decision logs
  • UAT test scenarios and migration readiness checklists


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50 to $55 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
