  • Compensation: $28.00/hr

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday

  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Plus overtime availability

About the Role

Airgas National Carbonation (ANC) is a specialized division of Airgas that focuses on delivering CO2 (carbon dioxide) to support drink carbonation for businesses such as restaurants, bars, craft breweries, fast-food locations, and entertainment venues.

As a Field Service Technician, you are the hands-on mechanical expert for our customers. Please note: This is NOT a standard route driving job. This is a highly active field installation, repair, and service position that requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to operate our service vehicles. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the equipment that keeps our customers' beverage systems running smoothly. Note: The company provides all necessary tools, drills, and lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation & Service: Handle the complete installation, routine maintenance, field repair, and removal of CO2 microbulk tanks and syrup/beer lines at customer facilities.

  • Facility Modifications: Safely navigate customer sites by climbing ladders, working in ceilings or attics, and drilling through building walls.

  • Physical Equipment Handling: Perform physical labor, including using hand trucks to maneuver large, empty stainless steel microbulk tanks into place.

  • Vehicle Operation: Drive a 19,000 GVW company truck.

  • Adaptable: You are flexible and can pivot smoothly when daily schedules or routing change unexpectedly.

  • Safety-Minded: You are comfortable performing physical labor and operating a commercial vehicle safely in various environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements

  • Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements

  • No more than two traffic convictions or at-fault accidents within the last three years.

  • No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years

  • Must be able to work in a drug-free environment

  • Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CO2 or any specialty gas experience is a plus, but not required. We will train!
