Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Responsible for the safe transportation of patients correlating to the Behavioral Health Center and IOP services. Qualifications Reading and numerical competency. One year previous experience as a driver preferred Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 21 years of age and cannot have any of the following within the last 36 months: been convicted of an alcohol/drug-related offense while driving, had driver's license suspended/ revoked,convicted of two or more speeding violations or one or more other serious violations and/or been involved in onechargeable accident. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines mustbe completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. Handle with Care and Verbal DeEscalation training must be completed within 60 days of new hire orientation and annually prior to working in a clinical setting Ability to manage time independently and prioritize work. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all types of patients and caregivers. Requires specific knowledge of road and vehicle safety techniques, devices, and their application. Requires ability to use complex technical information. Must be able to listen, comprehend and absorb a variety of detailed information. Requires the ability to break down complex facts/process different types of information simultaneously.
