In this position, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that patients receive their prescriptions accurately and efficiently, contributing significantly to their health outcomes and overall satisfaction. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex processes and providing exceptional service, directly impacting the lives of countless individuals. To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
- Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
- Be able to work either of the following schedules:
- Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Have a valid Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee License for the State of Virginia
What You'll Do
- Proactively manage prescription exceptions, meticulously resolving claim rejects and facilitating essential communication with members and healthcare providers to ensure continuous care.
- Accurately input critical member demographic and prescription details into our advanced data processing systems, maintaining the integrity and precision of patient records.
- Investigate and adeptly resolve complex insurance billing challenges and address escalated member inquiries, ensuring smooth financial processing and patient satisfaction.
- Serve as a vital link, escalating prescription-related questions to Pharmacists for expert interpretation and guiding the appropriate processing steps.
- Engage with patients and physicians through inbound and outbound calls, providing compassionate support and clear information regarding their prescriptions.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the efficient operation of our pharmaceutical services.
What You'll Bring Must-Have Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical support role.
- Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification, as mandated by operational state regulations.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, demonstrating comfort with digital tools essential for daily tasks.
