Spare Hands - Counce Mill

Spare Hands are general laborers that are assigned to all areas of the Mill, Paper Machine, Woodyard, Pulping, Caustic, Power, Recycle, Shipping, or Yard Services as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Previous work in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Must be available to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and overtime.

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities

Written skills test will be given to selected candidates that meet the basic qualifications and they will be interviewed by a panel.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Starting salary for position: $29.46 per hour.

• Paid Holidays.
• Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
• Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
