What to Expect
The Commissioning Project Coordinator is a cross functional role that heavily supports the Tesla Commissioning and Quality Assurance team across several key operational areas. The Commissioning Project Coordinator will serve as a critical point of contact between field operations, procurement, and project manpower needs - ensuring seamless coordination and operational efficiency throughout the commissioning lifecycle.

What You'll Do
  • Procurement Coordination- Manage and facilitate procurement activities, including vendor communication, purchase order tracking, and materials sourcing in alignment with project timelines and budgetary constraints
  • Budget Management - Monitor, track, and report on project expenditures, ensuring adherence to approved budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities and flagging variances in a timely manner
  • Workforce Planning & Forecasting - Support the team in the development and maintenance of workforce planning models, assisting with data gathering and analysis to help forecast labor demand and track staffing levels in alignment with project milestones and operational needs
  • Data Collection, Analysis & Auditing - Collect, validate, and analyze field labor hour data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies, drive accountability, and support continuous process improvement
  • Reporting & Communication - Prepare and present clear, concise reports for leadership, translating complex data into actionable insights to support informed decision-making
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with team leaders, managers, field supervisors, finance, and HR teams to ensure alignment across all operational functions and support the successful delivery of commissioning objectives

What You'll Bring
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Proven experience in financial budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting platforms such as but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, along with the ability to pivot quickly from one task to another
  • Experience in construction, commissioning, or quality assurance environments is a plus but not required
