JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The College of IST is seeking applicants for part-time job of Research Assistant. The Research Assistant will support the development and improvement of cybersecurity courses, instructional materials, and hands-on lab activities. Duties may include researching current cybersecurity tools and practices, testing and documenting lab exercises, developing sample code or technical instructions, reviewing course materials, and assisting with the evaluation of new technologies for use in the curriculum. Applicants should have experience or coursework in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field. Familiarity with Linux, networking, cloud computing, scripting, virtualization, cybersecurity tools, or artificial intelligence is preferred. The successful candidate should have strong technical problem-solving, communication, documentation, and organizational skills and be able to work independently and collaboratively.
