A growing company in the transportation industry is seeking an experienced Office Coordinator to join their team. As the Office Coordinator, you will support the daily administrative and operational functions of the business unit. This role is responsible for customer service, office administration, staffing support, dispatch coordination, invoicing support, compliance documentation, and employee engagement initiatives. The Operations Coordinator serves as a key resource in ensuring efficient office operations and delivering exceptional service to both customers and team members. Supervisory Responsibilities
None Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers and prospective customers in person, over the phone, and through email communications.
- Support hiring activities including interviewing, onboarding, benefits enrollment, and general HR administration.
- Assist with dispatch activities, route planning, and special event coordination.
- Coordinate communication among team members to support efficient business operations.
- Track orders and support operational documentation to ensure timely completion of services.
- Support billing, accounts receivable, answering phones, preparing deposits, and general office administration.
- Maintain customer, employee, and office records in an organized and accessible manner.
- Manage office and yard supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs of office equipment.
- Support operational activities related to fleet maintenance, truck repairs, and compliance recordkeeping.
- Assist with maintaining DOT compliance documentation and employee files where required.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and team meetings.
- Sort and distribute mail and prepare documents as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of administrative, clerical, customer service, or operations support experience required.
- Experience supporting multiple business functions preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through written communication.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
