Description MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Portland seeks an innovative and collaborative physician educator to lead its Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. Working with an Associate Program Director, program manager and committed faculty, the Program Director will strengthen resident recruitment, advance educational excellence and prepare the next generation of obstetrician-gynecologists. This full-time position includes 50 percent protected program leadership effort and 50 percent clinical practice, together with an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine at a rank commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications. About the Program The MaineHealth Maine Medical Center OB/GYN Residency is an ACGME-accredited program committed to training exceptional clinicians, compassionate patient advocates, critical thinkers, educators and lifelong learners. The program is supported by a multidisciplinary educational leadership team, full-time faculty and community physicians. The residency has a total complement of 20 residents. As Maine's tertiary referral center, MaineHealth Maine Medical Center offers residents broad exposure to routine and complex obstetric and gynecologic care across inpatient, ambulatory, surgical and subspecialty settings.
