This role is critical to protecting T-Mobile's digital assets by designing, implementing, and strengthening data protection capabilities across software, systems, cloud platforms, endpoints, and infrastructure. The role requires a strong understanding of how data is created, classified, managed, stored, accessed, transmitted, and retained across the enterprise, as well as the ability to identify risk and recommend practical remediation strategies. The individual will conduct security assessments, evaluate data protection gaps, and partner with engineering, technology, and business teams to implement scalable controls across mobile devices, cloud services, networks, and enterprise applications. Experience with Microsoft Purview is required, along with broader knowledge of leading data loss prevention, data security, and cybersecurity technologies. The ideal candidate will also bring insight into emerging AI security practices, including risks associated with sensitive data used by generative AI and machine learning applications, and provide informed recommendations on tools, controls, and operating practices that support T-Mobile's evolving security journey. Success will be measured by the effectiveness of security controls, reduction of data exposure and vulnerabilities, and the ability to drive timely, sustainable remediation of data protection risks.Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
