Job Description

  • Perform Process Audits in Plant Manufacturing Departments.
  • Inspections to be completed based upon directed risk approach and manufacturing performance.
  • Responsible for executing Dispositions, consulting with QA and Op supervisor where required, Impound material per requirements.
  • Perform audits of finished product from the Manufacturing Departments for conformance of quality requirements.
  • Assist in the training of new employees and refresher training of current staff.
  • Assist in the investigation of customer complaints to resolve issues pertaining to quality and to satisfy customer needs.
  • Audit the quality process to ensure conformance to established quality-related procedures.
  • Complete all paperwork, reports, and filing associated with the performance of the role to affirm that audit and test results are accurately documented, organized, and filed.
  • Ability to train for and conduct internal ISO and food safety audits and support external audits as needed.
  • Participate in our Continuous Improvement program including the support of six sigma and defect improvement teams throughout the plant.
  • Maintain retain process and log into the database
  • Approval of medical clean process
  • Serve as back up to other Quality positions during times of vacations, illness, etc.
  • Proactively communicate issues or concerns with QA Lead and QA Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year experience in manufacturing quality
  • Detailed oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must have a demonstrated knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Power Point, Teams, Excel and SAP
  • Effective and collaborative skills to work with production teams
  • On-the-floor leader who guides production teams regarding customer quality demands.
