Scope of Position

The Enterprise Applications Developer is responsible for enhancing and supporting the company's enterprise applications and integration efforts towards common platforms. While the primary applications to support will be web-based .NET applications, the developer will have to broaden its skillset supporting additional applications such as Metaviewer, EcoSys, Dynamics 365 CRM, and Power Platform applications.

This role will work directly within the scrum team to realize solutions to the various business requirements given. On the technical-level-- having an eye for efficiency, flexibility and automation are highly beneficial, as well as having solid interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication of potentially complex topics with fellow team members and our end-users.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops and supports enterprise applications: Power Platform (PowerApps, Data Verse, Automate, SharePoint), VMS (C# ASP.NET), and PSS (.NET Core).
  • Provide technical feasibility and estimation for assigned tasks or projects.
  • Supports internal cross-functional teams that need developer input.
  • Conducts testing and debugging along with system and integration testing.
  • Assists technical team in establishing development and deployment standards.
  • Provides technical administration and support as needed.
  • Travel: Annually visits one or more regional offices/jobsites and attends technical or specific industry conferences and training.

Education/Experience

  • B.S. Computer Information Systems/Computer Science and 5-8 years of experience developing custom software solutions using a variety of technologies.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications Etc.

  • The ability to execute complex software development project tasks.
  • Working experience within Microsoft stack: Visual Studio, C#, SQL, Restful services
  • Hands-on experience in Web API, JavaScript, XML, HTML, SOAP, REST, JSON, DB (SQL Server or Oracle), and SQL.
  • Familiarity with agile development lifecycle.
  • The ability to systematically troubleshoot application issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Being hands-on in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Identifies as a life-long learner and aims for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative work style.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and execute the company vision and values of Team, Excellence, Service and Trust.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Prior experience with iPaaS software (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Workato)
  • Prior experience using Bitbucket
  • UIX design knowledge

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
