Science Systems and Applications Inc. (SSAI) is seeking a candidate to serve as an Associate Scientific Programmer/Analyst at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). This full-time analyst will leverage data from a family of waveform sensors to understand and improve development/operation of the sensors and/or improve the precision and accuracy of data products derived from the sensors. The team is composed of world leaders in the development and deployment of waveform recording laser altimeter (lidar) systems for surface mapping and characterization. Data from the team's lidars are available globally and are used to characterize and monitor surface features such as vegetation, sea ice and ice sheets. Key Responsibilities:
