Summary Job Description: Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Full Time - Days The Oncology Unit is a specialized inpatient and outpatient care unit dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with cancer. The unit provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care that includes chemotherapy administration, radiation therapy coordination, pain management, symptom control, and palliative care. Job Description: Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Under general supervision, provides professional nursing services and patient care in a variety of settings. Follows established nursing process, including patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies, and nursing procedures, standards, and practices. Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity.
