Instructional Aide

Menands School is seeking Instructional Aides for the 20262027 school year .

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers and students in the classroom
• Work with individuals and small groups
• Assist students with special needs, including personal care as needed
• Help maintain a safe, organized learning environment

The Menands Union Free School District better known as Menands Schoolserves approximately 300 students in 4 Year Old PRE-K through eighth grade. The school district pays tuition for an additional 130 Menands students in ninth through 12th grades to attend one of four area high schools: Shaker High School in North Colonie Central School District, Colonie Central High School (South Colonie), Watervliet High School, or Tech Valley High School. A small public school district that never centralized with other schools, Menands Union Free School District has been in existence for over 140 years and continues to be a focal point of our village community.
