We're hiring a Press Operator to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain printing press equipment while helping mentor junior team members. It's convenient because instead of applying for a bunch of jobs and keeping track of which ones you applied for, which ones have called back, which ones haven't, and things like that." -Staffmark, Machine Operator Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Technical training in printing, manufacturing, or industrial operations is a plus Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions Experience Requirements Minimum 2-3 years of press operating experience required Experience in a manufacturing or print production environment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of press setup, operation, maintenance, and safety procedures Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, or printing press equipment preferred Ability to mentor and train less experienced operators Basic computer skills for data entry and production reporting Strong communication and teamwork skills Job Duties Set up printing presses by loading inks, rolls, and production materials Adjust press settings to meet production specifications Operate and monitor printing presses to ensure high-quality output Inspect printed materials for defects, inconsistencies, and quality issues Troubleshoot minor mechanical and production-related problems Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams Load and unload rolls, sheets, and production materials Assist with stacking, sorting, and packaging finished products Maintain accurate production and inventory records Support inventory management of printing supplies and materials Lead, mentor, and assist junior press operators Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings Follow all safety, quality, and production standards Physical Capabilities Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to lift and move production materials as needed Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail Physical stamina to support production goals and deadlines Benefits: Good, steady paythat shows up every week Medical, dental, vision, life, and disabilityplans Optional 401(k) savings plan Strong,respectful team environment Safety first,training, and gear that keep you protected Job Duties: You'll be the one running the press brake, reading blueprints, and shaping sheet metal into finished parts that hit spec every time. You'll check your work, keep things safe, and take pride in a clean, efficient setup. The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
