Stellantis' Propulsion Controls Engineering Department is seeking an Advanced Controls Lead Engineer to lead the design and implemention of cutting edge controls solutions for next generation propulsion system technologies. Our team is looking for a highly qualified and motivated candidate who can lead the complete systems development of propulsion control strategies for conventional and electified propulsion systems, delivering results with meaningful impacts on our product. They must enjoy working on complex cross disciplinary problems and must be comfortable being involved with every step of development from design to in-vehicle prototyping and testing. The Lead Engineer is responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership including developing new processes & methodologies. The candidate must be experienced in propulsion control state of the art technologies, including but not limited to the areas of engine, transmission, and electrified powertrains with experience in control system design, calibration, and testing. The candidate must be a strong team player, systems focused with interdisciplinary experience & expertise, and willing to work in fast paced environment. The Lead Engineer is responsible for both individual technical project deliverables as well as mentoring and guiding colleagues, coordinating activities, and bringing projects to successful conclusions.
