Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse and logistics operations by receiving, organizing, tracking, and distributing materials in a safe and efficient manner. This role is responsible for inventory management, packaging, labeling, facility upkeep, and supporting project teams through accurate material handling and documentation. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, is comfortable working with computers and inventory tracking systems, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and organization.

Job Responsibilities




  • Package, label, and tag warehouse inventory accurately.



  • Enter and maintain inventory records in the inventory management system.



  • Load and unload materials while ensuring proper handling and storage.



  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.



  • Perform facility maintenance tasks as needed.



  • Make local deliveries when required.



  • Track damaged inventory and report discrepancies promptly.



  • Operate forklifts and company vehicles; training will be provided.



  • Utilize power tools as needed to support warehouse operations.



  • Follow 5S organization and Lean manufacturing principles.



  • Assist with additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.




Job Requirements




  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.



  • Experience using inventory management systems such as SAP or Spectrum.



  • Experience with labeling, storing, cycle counting, order picking, shipping, and receiving inventory.



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheets and trackers.



  • Comfortable using computers to build, update, and manage tracking spreadsheets and inventory records.



  • Ability to operate power tools safely.



  • Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and company vehicles.



  • Must meet minimum driving standards.



  • Knowledge of 5S and Lean principles is preferred.



  • OSHA 10 certification is preferred.



  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.



  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.



  • Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces.



  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.



  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.




Education




  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Additional Job Details (Commute, Attendance, etc.)




  • Part-time position.



  • Flexible schedule available:




    • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, or



    • Monday through Friday for 4 hours per day.





  • No travel required.
