With 204-beds, it is the third largest of the four Duke Health hospitals and offers a comprehensive array of services, including cancer, cardiovascular, neuroscience, advanced gastrointestinal, and wound healing care. Job Summary Duke Health seeks to hire a Cancer Patient Support Program Coordiantor for Wake County. This role will support the Duke Cancer Center Raleigh, Duke Women's Cancer Care Raleigh, with occasional travel to Duke Cancer Center Cary and Duke Cancer Center Durham Work Performed * Supervise the Self-Image Services team and daily functions of the 2 Cancer boutiques; ensure product availability and inventory and partner with medical leadership to evaluate new product requests; continually educate staff members on product use and patient treatment options and corresponding side effects impacting body-image; work with local community organizations for donations for the no-charge section for patients General Duties and Responsibilities of this Level * Plan, coordinate and administer activities of assigned programs to include developing, implementing, and supervising related procedures, processes, services and systems; train employees in proper methods and procedures and ensure correctness of work. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities N/A Level Characteristics N/A Minimum Qualifications Education Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program Experience Work requires three years of experience in program administration or involving academic, instructional or counseling activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events.
