DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position focuses on cleaning, sanitizing, organizing, and maintaining facility spaces to support daily operations and resident well-being. It involves deep cleaning tasks, supply restocking, waste removal, and supporting safe working conditions. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:

  • Deep Cleaning: Clean resident rooms, offices, common areas, medical stations, kitchens, vehicles, and public spaces
  • General Cleaning: Perform mopping, dusting, scrubbing, polishing, sweeping, and related tasks on facility surfaces and fixtures
  • Restroom Care: Clean and sanitize restrooms and maintain needed supplies
  • Waste Disposal: Empty waste containers, dispose trash, and manage recyclable and infectious waste materials
  • Supply Management: Restock cleaning supplies and deliver or pick up materials as needed
  • Room Preparation: Organize, sanitize, and rearrange resident rooms before occupancy

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment (7.5 hours per day; 37.5 hours per week)
  • Work hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Sunday - Thursday (2nd shift), with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
