Job Title: Business Analyst 2

Location(s): Austin, TX

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst 2 to support application development initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams, developers, and stakeholders to facilitate Agile processes, define user stories and acceptance criteria, and contribute to improving organizational effectiveness, compliance, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Facilitate requirements workshops to identify themes, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Review and analyze existing requirements documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support Agile development processes, including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Participate in effort estimation discussions by facilitating story point estimation sessions.
• Assist in developing predictive level-of-effort models using Agile estimation techniques.
• Document business processes and workflows.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency and service delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably supporting application development or emerging technology projects.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in Agile project management environments.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience creating and documenting use cases.
• Experience with business process mapping and process documentation.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience supporting Agile teams using user stories and acceptance criteria.
