Stellar Solutions is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer / Ground Architecture SEIT to support the Advanced Fire Control Ground Infrastructure (AFCGI) program.



Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

In this role, you will support the development, integration, and deployment of a ground architecture enabling advanced fire control capabilities for missile tracking and targeting, including hypersonic threats. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will help define system architecture, manage technical requirements, support system integration and test activities, and collaborate with government customers and industry partners to deliver operational capabilities.

You will:

    Support the development and evolution of the overall ground system architecture and associated subsystem designs
  • Develop, manage, and maintain system requirements, interface definitions, technical budgets, and Requirements Verification Traceability Matrices (RVTMs)
  • Support technical baseline development, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and major lifecycle reviews
  • Collaborate with customers, users, and engineering teams to define system functionality, operational concepts, and technical solutions
  • Distill complex technical information into clear engineering recommendations and presentations for customers and program leadership
  • Support system integration, verification, anomaly resolution, and technical risk management throughout the systems engineering lifecycle
  • Develop architecture products, engineering analyses, technical documentation, and presentation materials supporting program execution
  • Work within an agile development environment to rapidly deliver capabilities while maintaining sound systems engineering practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of systems engineering experience supporting space, ground, or defense systems
  • Experience with system architecture, requirements development, interface management, and technical documentation
  • Experience supporting space or ground systems through technical design, system integration, Integration & Test (I&T), verification, and transition to operations
  • Familiarity with Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Requirements Verification Traceability Matrices (RVTMs), and systems engineering best practices
  • Experience supporting technical reviews, risk management, and requirements verification
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community space and ground system programs
  • Experience with ground segment architectures, mission operations, or secure networked systems
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  • Experience working in classified development environments
  • Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience

Clearance:

  • Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for sensitive compartmentalized information (SCI) and special access program (SAP) clearances (SCI preferred).

Compensation:

The typical pay range for this position is USD $135,000 - $195,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package).
