For a limited time MaineHealth is offering the following sign on bonuses for ED Techs - (CNA):

0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time)
1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)

*current employees are not eligible - must be separated from MaineHealth for at least 6-months*

Summary:
The Emergency Department Technician II - MMCP role assists the healthcare team in organizing and implementing basic department activities such as stocking, results retrieval and patient tracking. Under the guidance of the physician/advanced practice practitioner, this role will perform patient care such as vital signs, pulse oximetry, EKG, phlebotomy and other simple procedures. Orients new team members and students and provides educational offerings in unit.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Education: Completion of a Certified Nursing course required.
2. License/Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
3. Experience: Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of an Emergency Department Technician I role.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.

The pay range for this position is $20.68to $25.10 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
