As a Project Manager, you'll serve as a key leader in delivering high-impact, highly visible initiatives across the organization. Working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, vendors, and technology teams, you'll lead projects from planning through implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Through collaboration, communication, and strong project leadership, you'll help drive meaningful outcomes for both our members and employees.

What You'll Do (Your Impact)



  • Lead medium to large-scale strategic and technology projects using a blend of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Manage all phases of project delivery, including planning, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, and post-project review.
  • Partner with business leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide clear and timely project status updates to stakeholders and leadership teams, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Facilitate collaboration among project team members and business partners to drive progress and remove barriers.
  • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and roadblocks, and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication, problem-solving, and change management practices.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and third-party partners, influencing outcomes and resolving challenges as needed.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement across project teams.
  • Ensure project work adheres to Summit's Project Management Office (PMO) standards and industry best practices.


What You Bring



  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience leading medium to large-scale technology projects.
  • Experience utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects through the full project lifecycle, including requirements definition, system design, testing, documentation, and implementation.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify root causes of process and system performance issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors, negotiating solutions, and influencing positive outcomes.
  • Proven ability to lead change initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as Planview PPM Pro, Jira, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers. The employee may occasionally reach above and below shoulder level and lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 10 pounds.

Environmental/Working Conditions

Work is performed in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branch locations may require exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.

Equipment Used

A variety of office equipment, including telephone, printer, PC, and mobile devices.
