What You'll Do

As a Tool & Die Technician, you'll help keep our tooling and production equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably by:

  • Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production dies, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies
  • Diagnosing tooling issues and performing repairs to minimize downtime
  • Performing preventive maintenance on tooling and tool room equipment
  • Operating manual machining equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses, presses, and band saws
  • Using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators
  • Reading blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate, modify, and repair tooling
  • Supporting die changeovers, equipment setup, and production startup activities
  • Working closely with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to improve tooling performance, safety, and reliability
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe

What We're Looking For

We're interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

  • Tool & Die
  • Machining
  • Industrial maintenance
  • Fabrication
  • Welding
  • Automotive manufacturing
  • Stamping operations

Additional qualifications include:

  • Experience operating manual machining equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, or drill presses
  • Experience with die changeovers, equipment setup, troubleshooting, or preventive maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators
  • Technical school, apprenticeship, or related skilled trades training is preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
