TITLE: Warehouse Person
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Safely receive, store, move, and distribute raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production and shipping operations in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.
Starting Pay: $17.50 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse or material handling experience required.
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment required.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified upon hire.
- Experience operating a scissor lift preferred (if applicable).
- Comfortable working at elevated heights when job duties require.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate overtime and non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Commitment to safe work practices and company policies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to transport, load, unload, stack, and stage materials.
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue raw materials and finished goods.
- Load and unload trucks while verifying quantities and product condition.
- Supply production lines with materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory by scanning, recording, and documenting material movements.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate a scissor lift when required to retrieve or store materials at elevated locations.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION
- Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment, forklifts, and warehouse traffic.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and other typical manufacturing conditions.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Frequent work around elevated storage areas and occasional work at heights using a scissor lift.
AUTHORITY / DECISION MAKING
- Prioritize daily material handling activities to support production and shipping schedules.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and safety concerns.
- Make routine decisions regarding material movement while following established procedures.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
- Ability to stand, walk, and change positions frequently over an eight-hour period. The position requires walking up to 8 hours per work shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and climbing.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift for extended periods.
- Ability to climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the workday.
- Ability to work at elevated heights while operating a scissor lift, when required.
- Ability to use hands and arms continuously to grasp, lift, and manipulate materials and equipment.
- Ability to maintain visual awareness and depth perception necessary for safe forklift operation.
- Ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. Lifting requirements up to and including 30 lbs. (frequently)

- Must be able to reach and lift above shoulders (frequently)
