Job Summary Intermodal Service Employees (ISE) are responsible for safely performing activities and completing processes that place customer freight for movement on a train from the origin to the CSX Intermodal Terminal destination across our network. The ISEs will also be responsible for ensuring the availability of our customers freight for pick up after arriving at the destination terminal.

Pay Rates: As of July 1, 2026 is $30.43 is the new rate at 100% (@ 90% until qualified (may take up to 8 months) - $27.39/Hourly). Training: New hires complete four days of hands-on and classroom-based training at their home terminal, including a training exam in which a passing score of 85% or higher is required. Once complete, employees will start on-the-job training for ~8 months. Minimum Qualifications:
