Inside the Role

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our Cleveland Truck Manufacturing Plant. As a Maintenance HVAC-Journeyman, you will play a role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained within our maintenance department. Additionally, you will perform HVAC maintenance orders as needed, analyze machine error messages, repair or replace defective equipment and perform process improvements.

Skilled Trades position offers a top pay of $46.75/hr.
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What you Drive at DTNA:
Performs heating, ventilation, air conditioning troubleshooting and repairs on all plant HVAC equipment.
Performs high and low voltage electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Performs pneumatic controls troubleshooting and repairs.
Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.
Troubleshoot and repair and adjust gas trains.
Make proper adjustments to all phases of HVAC equipment.
Perform mechanical maintenance from shop work orders, preventative work orders (PM's) as well as from written, drawn and verbal instruction
Repair leaks in coils and pipes in all plant HVAC equipment.
Detect leaks in chilled water, DX, steam, condensate and condensate traps.
Balance airflows in HVAC equipment and paint booths.
Change filters in all plant equipment.
Fabricate and install ductwork and other sheet metal parts.
Use various meters and gauges to maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
Perform other mechanical skills such as repair or replace pumps, sprockets, belts, chains bearings, sheaves etc.
Perform all mechanical and piping skills to maintain various pieces of plant equipment.
Perform repairs on boilers and air compressors.
Perform operational checks and troubleshoot operations of the chillers.
Operate forklifts
Perform other duties as required.
Knowledge You Should Bring
Five (5) years experience HVAC Maintenance experience in an industrial facility
CMMS experience
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammer, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
Must demonstrate the safe use of various meters and gauge
High School Diploma or GED
Attached resume required
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
Previous experience in a manufacturing automotive environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Associate's degree in related field
