Your role
This position is a Technical and Commercial leadership role for a portfolio of Leybold Service products. Primary conduit for service product and application related activity with global product management group, including pricing structure, marketing plans, new product launch and product training. Additionally, this role develops knowledge and understanding of the competitor products and markets for the service portfolio of products. Resource to all North American Sales Channels for for service productselection, configuration, as well as geographic support for the full service vacuum product range. Close working partnership with technical support group and Industrial/Scientific Product Sales Development Managers. Main Responsibilities
- Own and drive the growth of Leybold's service portfolio, including field service, equipment upgrades, in-house repairs, training, refurbished equipment, and spare parts.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase service revenue and expand market share across North America.
- Support service product management activities, including pricing strategies, product launches, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Partner with North American and Global Service Marketing teams to develop effective customer messaging and support growth campaigns.
- Promote customer education and training programs, including LeyboldU and other service-focused learning initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve service business performance, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with key direct and reseller accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Train and support Leybold sales teams and sales support functions on service offerings, value propositions, and solution development.
- Develop and deliver presentations for new service programs, products, and customer initiatives.
- Build expertise in Leybold products, services, and applications within scientific and industrial vacuum markets.
- Monitor competitive service offerings, pricing, and market trends to strengthen Leybold's market position and provide feedback to global product management.
- Serve as a technical resource for service-related questions and support cross-functional teams as needed.
- Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and conference calls to identify service opportunities and support sales development efforts.
- Assist with regional warranty claim reviews and service-related business decisions.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
To succeed, you will need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, product marketing, product management, or service-related business development.
- Experience within the vacuum industry or other industrial technology markets is strongly preferred.
