TITLE: High Voltage Charging Controls Technical Specialist

DUTIES: Lead the development of supervisory charging and discharging (vehicle-to-load, vehicle-to-home, and vehicle-to-vehicle) algorithms and strategies for the next generation of Stellantis electrified vehicles. Lead the definition and design of high voltage charging controls concepts and functions. Champion identifying and executing best practices in control design. Lead verification of control algorithms against functional requirements employing methods of model-in-the -loop, hardware-in-the-loop, subsystem test, and vehicle test. Lead definition and simulation of charging control use cases and simulation activities. Interface with various stakeholders across the high voltage energy management functional domain and contribute to the definition of functional objectives and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related and 8 years of experience in job offered or related position in electrified control systems. Alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related and 5 years of experience in job offered or related position in electrified control systems. Experience must include: Developing algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink; Utilizing CANalyzer or CANoe and CAPL; Performing high voltage conformance testing; Utilizing knowledge of automotive high voltage power electronics including onboard charger, inverters and converters; Applying knowledge of AC voltage charging standards including SAE J1772, IEC 61851, GB/T 18487; Applying knowledge of DC charging standards including DIN 70121, ISO 15118, GB/T 27930; Utilizing high-voltage laboratory, test equipment commission, setup and maintenance; Utilizing ETAS logging and calibration tools including INCA; and Engaging in vehicle powertrain functions, including bidirectional charging, battery management, and supervisory energy management.
