The IT Services Support delivers IT support with a focus on high responsiveness and exceptional customer service. This cross-functional position is responsible for maintaining local desktop and hardware operations, managing service desk throughput, and acting as a key resource for SharePoint site administration and user solutions. Responsibilities include:
- Support SharePoint site creation, updates, access management, and basic troubleshooting
- Meet with customers to gather requirements and deliver out of the box SharePoint solutions
- Assist with SharePoint migrations, upgrades, documentation, and user training
- Monitor IT support channels (phone, email, Helpdesk) and submit/track tickets
- Perform basic system administration including account management, software configuration, and data process maintenance
- Review and communicate IT outage notices and maintain situational awareness of IT operations
- Research and resolve IT user questions or escalate when needed
- Complete desktop/laptop/tablet/printer setup and troubleshooting
- Install and update software and assist with ad hoc IT projects
- Support video conferencing setups, loaner equipment, software license coordination, and VIP support
- Provide remote support for off site users
- Log, document, and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Participate in team projects and complete other assigned duties
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic experience with SharePoint (support or simple development)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general IT troubleshooting practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in helpdesk, customer support, or application support
- Experience supporting both Windows and Mac environments
- Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar tracking tools
- Understanding of SDLC and standard IT procedures/work instructions
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or SharePoint Designer (light customization only)
Education and Relevant Work Experience:
- A BS/BA degree in an information technology field related field or equivalent experience in related field.
