As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government location, you will help support a professional environment by conducting screening activities, monitoring access points, and assisting with security-related concerns through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal items using approved equipment and screening methods while following post orders and established protocols.
• Verify identification, credentials, permits, and/or visitor information before allowing entry, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry points, lobby areas, and/or surrounding perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
