Job Description




As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify access, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this access control role, you will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers by following site-specific access procedures, badge policies, and visitor registration requirements at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue temporary badges when appropriate, and document arrivals, departures, and/or access-related activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entrances, checkpoints, loading areas, and perimeter points, as directed by site needs and working conditions.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing surroundings, reporting unusual activity, and supporting security-related procedures for employees, contractors, and/or guests.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
