The Role:The Manager, Global Marketing - Biolage DMI is responsible for the long-term, strategic development of their assigned product categories on a worldwide basis. In this role, you will learn to translate consumer and stylist insights into highly differentiated global innovations, leading products from initial concept to commercial launch. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the brand by defining product positioning, enhancing portfolio claims, and driving sustainability storytelling.

  • Lead Global Product Strategy:Drive the long-term development of products and categories worldwide, ensuring perfect alignment with brand DNA and category growth strategies.
  • Master Upstream Conceptualization:Identifyglobalconsumer,salon, and technological trends to generate innovative, market-disrupting product ideas tailored to the professional beauty industry.
  • Author Strategic Briefs:Initiateand lead comprehensive briefs for new projects, partnering with Research & Innovation (R&I),Development and Testingto guide formulas from ideation to production.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution with Authority:Serve as the central strategic "hub" and primary driver for your launches, leading cross-functional partners (Labs/R&I,Development, GBSC,Finance) with clarity and authority to steer project milestones and ensure on-time global launch readiness.
  • Drive Global Artwork & Compliance:Manage the day-to-day global artwork pipeline, crafting back-and-front pack copy and navigating claims, legal, and regulatory approvals.
  • Make Data-Driven Decisions:Conduct market researchand competitive analyses tovalidateconcepts and inform development decisions.
  • Foster Global-Local Synergy:Build strong partnerships with the US Marketing Team and key international Drive countries to ensure global strategies translate to local execution excellence.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with 7+ years of marketing experience (beauty or personal care industry preferred).
  • Upstream Product Innovation:Proventrack recordin product conceptualization, translating technical/scientific formula attributes into consumer-centric benefits, and authoring marketing briefs.
  • Artwork & Packaging Pipeline Management:Hands-on experience driving global artwork workflows, copywriting, and navigating regulatory, legal, and claim-approval processes.
  • Project Leadership:Strong project management and planning skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and align diverse cross-functional partners (R&I, Sourcing, Packaging) to meet launch milestones.
  • Financial Acumen:Strong business owners' mindset with the ability to manage category budgets, build global sizing models, analyze P&Ls, and recommend pricing strategies.
  • Relationship Management:Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with international teams, partner with US/Drive markets, and lead key stakeholder discussions.
  • Strategic Communication:Strong written, oral, and presentation-building skills, with the ability to articulate clear business direction andparticipatein senior leadership discussions.
  • Work Environment & Travel:Ability to work in an office-based environment (10 Hudson Yards, NYC) and travel domestically or internationally as needed (up to 25%).
