This is an outstanding opportunity for a collaborative healthcare leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about transforming ambulatory care through innovation, accountability, and servant leadership.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for a large network of primary care practices across the health system.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Practice Managers and operational leaders to build high-performing, engaged teams.
  • Partner with physicians and executive leadership to improve clinical operations, patient access, provider satisfaction, and overall practice performance.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance patient experience, operational efficiency, quality outcomes, and financial performance.
  • Develop and execute operational plans, business strategies, and budgets that support organizational goals and future growth.
  • Ensure effective scheduling strategies that maximize patient access while supporting provider productivity.
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, billing standards, and organizational policies.
  • Foster a culture centered on collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional service.
  • Participate as a senior leader in the ongoing growth and strategic direction of Lee Physician Group and Lee Health.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a proven healthcare operations executive who brings both strategic vision and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is an influential leader with extensive experience managing complex ambulatory practices, building strong physician partnerships, and leading organizational change.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Master's degree (MHA, MBA, or related field) required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive physician practice management experience within an integrated healthcare system.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-site ambulatory or primary care operations.
  • Strong knowledge of ambulatory practice operations, patient access, scheduling optimization, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with physicians, providers, and executive leadership.
  • Certification as a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) is strongly preferred.
  • Ambulatory Care Nurse Certification is a plus.
