What You'll Be Launching As a Capture Manager at Slingshot Aerospace, you will help drive growth by leading capture strategy, shaping competitive pursuits, and supporting winning proposals across our U.S. government, defense, intelligence, and commercial markets. This role is focused on post-pursuit decision capture activities, partnering closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams once opportunities have been identified, qualified, and selected for pursuit. You will work across the business - including Account Executives, Product, Engineering, Program, Finance, Legal, Contracts, and Proposal teams - to develop win strategies, align stakeholders, gather critical inputs, structure competitive deals, and guide capture efforts through proposal submission. You will also coordinate with external partners, primes, and teammates to ensure Slingshot submits compelling, compliant, and differentiated bids. This role is ideal for someone who can think strategically, write clearly, operate tactically, and bring structure to complex, fast-moving opportunities. The right person will be able to influence without direct authority, drive accountability across departments, and pull together the right people, information, and decisions needed to submit a winning proposal.
