UNIVERSITY of MISSOURI-KANSAS CITY Job Description
This position provides a high level of support to the Dean of the School of Medicine. A dean at the School of Medicine has a very high level of responsibility of a prestigious professional school, he/she needs to provide the utmost level of support. This position's focus is to be an extension of the dean and represent him/her when unavailable. This position will be expected to coordinate events, execute initiatives envisioned by the dean, and represent the dean in the most professional manner. This position is expected to understand all aspects of the School and how the departments function together to be able to provide solutions to problems that arise. A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience or its equivalent from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Anticipated Hiring Range
The starting salary is a minimum of $53,976 annually, commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
