For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months' separation from employment.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Clinical Supervisor. This is a working supervisory role, ideal for a clinically skilled and team-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for both direct patient care and day-to-day operational oversight of the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

  • Participate indirect patient care, including:
    • Triage of pediatric patients
    • Assisting with rooming and vital signs
    • Performing clinical procedures within scope of practice
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to medical assistants and nursing staff
  • Ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate care is delivered to all patients

Administrative & Supervisory Duties:

  • Collaborate with Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of the clinical team, ensuring adequate staffing and workflow efficiency
  • Collaborate with Practice Manager to support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff
  • Monitor compliance with safety and infection control standards
  • Collaborate with practice leadership to improve processes and patient experience
  • Collaborate with Practice Manager to assist with scheduling, timecard approvals, and performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with Practice Manager to facilitate team communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution

Schedule:

  • Full-time: 40 hours/week
  • Choice of schedule:
    • Four 10-hour days(e.g., Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday)
    • Five 8-hour days(Monday-Friday)

Summary:
The Supervisor - Clinical RN role is responsible for supervising assigned staff within the assigned work areas(s).

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure to practice in Maine. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: Two years of RN experience required. Experience in area of specialty may be required. Supervisory experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $89,980.80to $121,721.60per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
