Requisition Number:R161287 WAREHOUSE MATERIALS ASSOCIATE I (Open) How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:The Warehouse Materials Associate I is responsible for all aspects related to incoming freight that is delivered to the Carilion Warehouse. The associate is responsible for performing standard receiving and stocking tasks, such as unloading delivery trucks, sorting items by receiving priority, identifying and documenting damaged deliveries, rotating inventory, storing materials for easy access at primary pick locations, and performing quality assurance (QA) activities. What We Require: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. 3 (3) years of relevant experience in warehouse or materials management operations may be considered in lieu of HSD/GED. Experience: None Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Valid VA Driver's License with positive driving record required. Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills to include critical thinking, attention to detail interpersonal skills, and written/oral skills. Must be proficient in the use of standard warehouse equipment including forklift, cherry pickers, and power jacks. Must be customer service oriented. Proficiency in basic computerization skills and demonstrated ability to utilize (or learn to utilize) inventory management systems/software, email communication system, and customer service portal. Compensation Range: $16.18 - $22.65Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
