Overview
Salary: $45.07-50.07 Hourly
An advanced robotics and AI group operating within a major global technology ecosystem is seeking a hands-on, early-career Digital Marketing & AI Automation Specialist for a 6-month temporary project. This role sits at a unique intersection: you will spend half your time in the field capturing dynamic video content of next-generation robotic manufacturing solutions and the other half building AI-driven digital workflows to optimize our partner sales engine. This is an entry-to-junior level position perfect for an entrepreneurial "doer" who loves small-team velocity and wants to get their hands dirty in both content production and AI tooling.
Core Responsibilities
- On-Site Content Capture (40-45%): Shadow robotic service technicians at various customer deployments (machine shops) across the Bay Area. You will drive to site locations 1 to 3 days per week to film live automated CNC robotics in action.
- Social Video Production: Rapidly shoot, edit, and deliver multiple short-form, high-engagement video assets per week (primarily Instagram Reels, with some YouTube and LinkedIn). Content will range from raw, creator-style footage to polished business-facing summaries.
- AI & Workflow Automation (40-45%): Design, build, and optimize digital AI agents and automated workflows within the enterprise Google ecosystem (Gemini, Google AI Studio, Google Suite) to streamline sales operations, maintain pipeline trackers, and manage document efficiency.
- General Sales & Team Support (10-20%): Assist with cleaning large data sheets, managing meeting notes, updating customer tracking tools, and providing ad-hoc operational support to our solution partners.
Candidate Profile (What We Are Looking For)
We are looking for candidates who meet at least two of the three following core criteria:
- Content Savvy: Innate capability to shoot and edit mobile short-form videos quickly with a sharp eye for modern social media engagement.
- AI Curious: Highly proficient with digital productivity tools and enthusiastic about building workflows using generative AI and digital agents.
- Manufacturing Familiarity: Comfort or background working in hands-on, technical, or industrial environments (prior CNC machine shop, electronics, or sheet metal experience is highly preferred).
Additional Requirements:
- Mindset: A highly organized, entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in the weeds of spreadsheets and documentation without needing to outsource tasks to outside agencies.
- Experience Level: Early-career professional (this is an individual contributor execution role, not a strategic management role). Experience in nimble startup or small-team environments is highly preferred over large corporate backgrounds.
- Logistics: Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle to travel to 1 local customer shop per day when in the field (local mileage reimbursement provided).
