As a Security Officer Armed Concealed Carry Patrol in Alabaster, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Our Armed Patrol Officers at a financial institution location conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $16.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
