The Talent Acquisition Consultant serves as a strategic recruitment partner supporting Surgical Services across Inova. This role is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and hire exceptional clinical and non-clinical talent in support of perioperative services. Working closely with nursing and operational leaders, the consultant provides expert guidance throughout the full recruitment lifecycle while ensuring an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.

This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in the following states - DC, DE, FL, GA, MD, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Surgical Services leaders, hiring managers, and Human Resources to develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with workforce plans and organizational goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by consulting with leaders on hiring needs, labor market trends, recruitment strategies, and best practices for attracting top surgical talent.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define position requirements, develop compelling job postings, and create recruitment plans for roles across perioperative services, including operating room, PACU, pre-op, sterile processing, procedural areas, and surgical support functions.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, resume review, screening interviews, interview coordination, offer development, and onboarding support.
  • Assess candidate qualifications, clinical experience, technical competencies, and cultural fit through structured interviews and reference checks.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill Surgical Services positions while developing relationships with passive candidates for future opportunities.
  • Deliver a positive, responsive, and engaging candidate experience through consistent communication, timely follow-up, and personalized support throughout the hiring process.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships with hiring leaders, HR Business Partners, compensation, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient recruitment processes and successful hiring outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in Recruitment
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (or relevant experience in lieu of degree equivalent to 4 years)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting within healthcare, specifically supporting Surgical Services, perioperative services, nursing, or other highly specialized clinical areas.
  • Demonstrated success developing recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill, high-demand, or niche positions within a competitive talent market.
  • Experience recruiting within a large, complex healthcare organization or multi-site health system
